** This week I'm rolling pre-existing bookings forward as well as entering new appointments for my regular clients with recurring slots for all of 2021. While I do this I have blocked my diary.

Once I've completed this process I'll unblock my 2021 slots and update you here again so you will then be able to book a new slot if you are in pain or feel you need some mental health relief.
Your treatment is subject to my professional individual medical risk-benefit assessment:
- Existing patients, I know your case histories well from my treatment records;
- New patients, I will call you before your first treatment to discuss your current issues before agreeing a treatment plan.
Once we have a date when lockdown is eased and I am able to treat again I will automatically roll your appointment again so you will be at the front of the queue whenever it is I am allowed to reopen! You don't need to reschedule or cancel; I will do it for you.
I will keep you updated at the top of this booking webpage whenever rules are modified/clarified.

- ⛔️ Do not attend clinic if you or a member of your 🏠household has Covid or 🤒symptoms*** or are in the clinically vulnerable category. I have waived 24h cancel period during Covid.
- ⏰ Please arrive promptly ⌛️to reduce contact with others. Appointment times staggered; I need to 🖼ventilate and 🦠🧴disinfect the treatment room & common areas between each appointment.
- 🤸♂️Travel light & attend the appointment alone if possible.
- 😷 Please arrive wearing a face covering; I will be wearing a PPE 🛡visor.
- 🚾 Please 🧼wash 🤲hands on arrival.

- wear flip-up face-shields or a Darth Vader face covering 😷 except when eating******,
- reduce the number of 👨👩👧👦people around the 🍽dinner table if u can. A group of 6 has 5+4+3+2+1=15 unique pairings; a group of 3 has 3, so a group of 6 independent adults is up to 5x as risky (not 2x) as a group of 3. Large groups are disproportionately riskier than small groups (non-linear tho not exponential 🤓)*******
- limit the number of ⏳hours together indoors (this will also help avoid familiar familial 🦍arguments and improve your mental health),
- meet other(s) 🌳outside🧣wrapped-up rather than inside (Tier4, it's 1 other person not in your bubble),
- wrap-up and open the 🖼windows,
- treat yourself 🛀 without guilt and eat the 🍽food you enjoy the most - it's good for your mental health, and you will have good body fat reserves going into any dystopian, apocalyptic scenario.
- give your 🐶dog, Cujo, a massage. you will both feel good afterwards and, lets face it, Cujo knows some major 💩 has been going down all year but Cujo has absolutely no idea WTF it is or why the strange man keeps bringing cardboard boxes to the front door!
- swap your bitcoin for gold or silver. There will not be any electricity to run computers in an apocalypse.

Past & Current Stocktake 🤔
On a more serious note, whilst it is tragic
- for those who have already lost loved ones to covid,
- the NHS is being seriously stretched and tested again,
- the impact of long-covid on some survivors, and
- many people have lost their jobs and businesses and strains in everyones' mental health
the actual number of covid deaths during 2020 is approximately 0.1% of UK population, which is about the same number of people who die each year from heart disease, and which is about the same number of people who die each year from cancer.
The total number of people who die on average in the UK each year (1% of population) is roughly 10x the number who have died from covid in 2020.
Covid-19 is novel and therefore newsworthy, though the 9-fold larger non-covid causes of death have not vanished, our attention has been skewed by the medias' disproportionate weighting of covid coverage viz other worthy topics. To immunise yourself from media bias, gather your data from a variety of sources and 💭think independently for yourself.

Future 🌈
Although the current UK situation & mood appear gloomy - with a couple of caveats: 1. confirmed vaccine efficacy against Kent, SouthAfrican & future strains 2. improving rollout logistics - I am very hopeful & 80% confident that covid itself (as distinct from its economic impacts) will be "job done" by mid-late 2021 and that we may even start seeing some noticeable improvements by as early as February 2020. There are of course many other important things in our lives that we could choose to focus on in the meantime.
Until then let's all get rid of our excess adrenaline and cortisol by
1. 🏃♂️Exercising - punching our 🧸teddy bears indoors if necessary,
2. Taking a slow deep breath 🧘♂️, & then
3. Staying connected (albeit socially distantly), belly laughing, singing in the shower, being more tolerant & acting with consideration and kindness 🥰💓.
******* Unfortunately neither the government nor the media have highlighted this important feature in AT ALL (tho I may have missed it in all the noise). A New Years Eve gathering of 50 contains 1,225 unique pairs!
